Don Ko Jhelna Mushkil Hi Nahi Namumkin Hai !

Well guys sorry for the delay in the post, was really in the festive spirit and frankly didnt want to ruin the atmosphere for anyone.

Anyway this post is for all those who havent seen the movie as yet...

"Don ko Pakadna Mushkil hi nahi Namumkin hai"...I guess we can do away with this dialogue now since it doesnt fit the bill anymore...Well to all SRK fans...the movie sucks big time !!

I hope he switches to more meaningful cinema soon...There is nothing wrong with the making of the movie...The only missing factor being the storyline...Too much action ...Wastage of talent I wud say at times (especially Boman Irani)

Although there is a twist in the storyline (bit different from the original DON)...The only reason I see this movie making any profit is becoz of SRK and Diwali-ID release...!!

As for Farhan Akhtar...I really liked Lakshya...Dont know why it didnt work out...But this movie is spineless...!!

The only thing I liked in the movie was the 'Khaike Pan Banaras Wala' song (revisited) and SRK's wardrobe...Although most of the songs seem unwanted and out of place (the script doesnt demand a song)...But thn cant help it...SRK movies got to have lots of song and dance sequences and peppy numbers (example being the 'Yeh Mera Dil' song where Kareena seduces SRK as the vamp)

All in all not worth watching in theatre I wud say..If u really want to see the movie as it is an SRK starrer...My suggestion wud be wait for the DVD (although this is not an absolute bakwaas like KANK)

Note : Sorry ladies if I have hurt your sentiments in some way...but I do really feel tht SRK can do much better movies than this...!!

Hidden Anti-Semitic and 9/11 Referential Messages in Microsoft Wingdings !

Sorry guys, there was NO flight of number Q33NY on 9/11. Just another internet hoax. Those flights have become famous, and infamous, American Airlines Flight number 11 and number 175.

The Hoax...
1. open MS word
2. type "NYC" in uppercase letters
3. change the font size to 72
4. change the font to webdings
5. change the font to wingdings

Apparently "q33ny" — supposed to be the flight number of one of the crashed planes - gives an aeroplane, two buildings, a skull and crossbones and the star of david. Again, no comment, although whether this is in fact the number of one of the planes seems unlikely.

People have suggested that this is a sign that Microsoft were involved in the terrorist attack.

Is It Really Kentucky Fried Chicken ?

KFC has been a part of American traditions for many years. Many people, day in and day out, eat at KFC religiously. Do they really know what they are eating? During a study of KFC done at the University of New Hampshire, they found some very upsetting facts. First of all, has anybody noticed that the company has changed their name ?

Kentucky Fried Chicken has become KFC. Does anybody know why ? We thought the real reason was because of the "FRIED" food issue.

IT'S NOT ! !

The reason why they call it KFC is because they can not use the word chicken anymore. Why ? KFC does not use real chickens. They actually use genetically manipulated organisms. These so called "chickens" are kept alive by tubes inserted into their bodies to pump blood and nutrients throughout their structure. They have no beaks, no feathers, and no feet. Their bone structure is dramatically shrunk to get more meat out of them. This is great for KFC.

Because they do not have to pay so much for their production costs. There is no more plucking of the feathers or the removal of the beaks and feet. The government has told them to change all of their menus so they do not say chicken anywhere. If you look closely you will notice this. Listen
to their commercials, I guarantee you will not see or hear the word chicken.

It is upto you to either believe this or pass it as a rumour...!!

The Flip Side of Social Networking !

The craze may be catching on across the country, but for three girls, 'orkutting' turned out to be a nightmare.

The Kolkata city police have probed at least three complaints — the last of them from Bilaspur (Madhya Pradesh) — where jilted lovers and spurned friends had turned to Orkut with vengeance, creating obscene profiles and lewd albums , making life living hell for the victims.

The three complaints, two of which were made by Kolkata-based girls and one from Madhya Pradesh, were received in the last three months. In each, detective found out later, the girls knew their tormentors.

However, no case was lodged, as officers felt the three ‘offending’ youth had a bright future ahead of them. If slapped with cases, either their careers will be ruined or they might land up in jail. They are young people who claimed to have done this in momentary madness.

For the victims, however, this hasn’t been easy. Take for example the latest complaint. This 23-year-old Bengali girl now doing her MA in Bilaspur (Madhya Pradesh) was quite depressed after her long relationship with a youth fell apart.

They’d called off their engagement . While the girl was trying her best to come to terms with reality, this youth was plotting revenge.

So what did he do? He turned to Orkut. He created a completely new profile of the girl — replete with her name and address (even her mail ID’s and cell-number ). Introducing the girl, he left nothing to imagination and in a bid to buttress the point; he even put up obscene photographs in her album and wrote lewd innuendoes in her testimonials.

The result was obvious. Within days the girl was flooded with calls. When she enquired , she realised what had happened but did not know who was responsible. Her next stop had been Bilaspur police. But they told her they could do nothing about it.

So she shot off a mail to Kolkata Police’s cyber crime cell. Pleading them to take action .
‘‘Though this didn’t come within our jurisdiction, we were moved by her letter and probed the matter,’’ said a senior officer.

The DC said, ‘‘ Most people don’t realise from the point they log on to net, to the time they enter data and send it, it’s being logged. “If only one cared to look in the address bar in the top, would they realise they are leaving behind a trail of everything they do. All we had to do is ask the service provider (in this case Google) for the details. They responded (in all these three cases) very fast.’’

The offender, in this case, was tracked down. A team of officers brought him to Kolkata. He was told of the consequences and let off. A senior officer said, ‘‘ In all these cases, we’d successfully managed to delete these profiles. The service provider is also very particular about such misuse. Now if you log in to Orkut, these cautionary notes flash constantly at the top of your screen. One can even report its misuse to the service provider directly.’’
