Beast on the Tracks...'Yamaha R15'...

Dedicated to the first 'SuperSport Bike' on Indian Roads and my first full fledged investment on a Bike of the future...!! :)

Whatz it all about ?
Toned down version of 'Yamaha YZF R1'. The best of Yamahaz Racing Technology is in there relatively toned down.


- Light Liquid Cooled Aluminium Engine.
- Multi Nozzle Fuel Injection.
- Mono Cross Suspension.
- DELTA BOX Frame.
- DiaSil Cylinder.

This is drool stuff...The handling is amazingly smooth and you won't feel a jerk even at top speeds...True to itz name it has got the DNA of the famous YZF R1 in it and is a beast on the tracks...A top whack of almost 145 km/h makes it the fastest bike in the premium segment...Moreover you can do the corners with atmost ease and can actually gear up while doing so such is the awesome grip on the road...!!

The tubeless tyres stick to the road like glue and both the front and rear disc brakes are amazingly fine-tuned...This in itself is a refined machine with 6 gears...I like to call it a machine because of so many firsts to its name in terms of technological advancement...No other Indian bike can boast of the state-of-the-art technologies that this bike has...Probably the reason why Yamaha could not keep the pricing down as it wanted it to be the best and the fastest and available only to the niche segment...!!

On the fuel economy front this bike doesnt disappoint as you would easily get around 35-40 km/l on city roads which is quite good...The liquid cooling allows it to run for longer stretches without burnout and adds to the fuel efficiency...4 valve fuel injection and Deltaboz frame is rite out of the top draw of racing bikes...The 150 cc engine generates 17 bhp of power and this coupled with the light weight (125 kg) makes it the fastest on Indian roads...!!

Ride it and you will feel the difference...The throttle response is just so smooth that you will forget driving other bikes...And add to it the drooling attention you will get on the road !! :)
